Advanced implantology course with anatomical practice on cadavers

Theoretical Session:

Bone anatomy of the craniofacial district;
Models of bone resorption and anatomical limits;
Innervation of the oral district and alveolar nerve
Mental foramen and incisal canal;
Type of bone (D1-D2-D3-D4) and suggested surgical approaches;
Vascularization of the oral district and main vessels on the floor of the mouth;
Post-extractive dental implants;
Minor Sinus Lift, according to Summer’s technique, with osteotomes;
Greenstick fracture (split crest);
Major Maxillary Sinus Lift;
Soft tissues harvesting and grafts;
Suturing techniques.

Toward Practice:

Practical cadaver dissection exercises for the participants, in the structures of the University of Saint’Etienne (France).Main purposes of the Practice: the goal of these activities is to lead the participants to acquire higher manual skills in the implant placement.
